Prize winner

Clive Boardman - a member for 49 years - won our first prize draw for completing our member update details. Clive said, "I joined the Photogrammetric Society after encouragement (!) from our lecturer Keith Atkinson while studying for the MSc in Photogrammetry at UCL in 1976. I have served on council and was a member of the committee that oversaw the merger (in 2001) with the Remote Sensing Society. I became a Fellow of the Society in 2002. The Society has proved to be very valuable professionally with reference, particularly, to the past programme of lectures at Burlington House and to the Photogrammetric Record. The Record remains a very high quality publication and continues to thrive due to the succession of brilliant editors since the Society was founded.

So, by next year I will have been a member for fifty years and I will continue my membership while I still remain active in photogrammetry – now just part time. "

More to come!

Over the next few months we will be adding opportunities for you: Training, Jobs, Work Experience and a Resource Bank.
