An individual shall be eligible to apply for a Full Membership subject to the following conditions:
Completion of studies in which remote sensing or photogrammetry is a component and passion.
OR
Have at least two (2) years relevant professional experience in relation to remote sensing and photogrammetry.
Associate Membership
An individual shall be eligible to apply for Associate Membership subject to the following conditions:
Is currently enrolled in a UK based university in which remote sensing and photogrammetry is a component and passion.
OR
Have under two (2) years of relevant professional experience in relation to remote sensing and photogrammetry.
Fellowship
An existing member of the Society shall be eligible to apply for a fellowship subject to the following conditions:
Completion of postgraduate studies in which remote sensing or photogrammetry is a major and important component and passion of at least seven (7) years relevant professional experience, including holding a position to exercise judgement and undertake responsibility in relation to remote sensing and photogrammetry for at least three (3) years.
OR
Completion of at least ten (10) years practice of remote sensing or photogrammetry in a professional capacity, including holding a position to exercise judgement and undertake responsibility in relation to remote sensing and photogrammetry for at least three (3) years.
You will also be asked to complete an application form and may be asked to provide evidence to support the application.
If successful, Fellows are entitled to use FRSPSoc after their name.
Corporate Memberships
Small Business Membership
A company shall be eligible to apply for a small business membership subject to the following conditions:
Must have less than ten (10) employees.
AND
Must be involved in, or contributing to, remote sensing and photogrammetry.
Medium Business Membership
A company shall be eligible to apply for a medium business membership subject to the following conditions:
Must have between eleven (11) and fifty (50) employees.
AND
Must be involved in, or contributing to, remote sensing and photogrammetry.
Large Business Membership
A company shall be eligible to apply for a large business membership subject to the following conditions:
Must have over fifty (50) employees.
AND
Must be involved in, or contributing to, remote sensing and photogrammetry.
University Memberships
University Membership
A university shall be eligible to apply for a university membership subject to the following conditions:
Must be based in the UK.
AND
Must provide courses in which remote sensing and photogrammetry are a component.
University Student Membership
A university student shall be eligible to apply for a university student membership subject to the following conditions:
Must be enrolled at a university that is a current member of RSPSoc
University Staff Membership
A university staff member shall be eligible to apply for a university staff membership subject to the following conditions:
Must be employed by a university that is a current member of RSPSoc.
