We were thrilled to be part of GEO Business 2026, the UK’s leading geospatial event, which took place at ExCeL London on 3–4 June. Bringing together thousands of professionals, cutting-edge technology, and fresh ideas from across the sector, GEO Business was where innovation met real-world impact — and RSPSoc was delighted to be right at the heart of it.
This year’s event created an incredible buzz, with more than 100 exhibitors, a packed programme of CPD-accredited sessions, and a community of over 6,000 attendees all focused on the future of geospatial technology. From surveying and GIS to remote sensing and data-driven decision-making, GEO Business proved to be the perfect place to discover what was next for our industry.
For RSPSoc, GEO Business was a fantastic opportunity to connect with members, partners, and new faces who shared our passion for remote sensing and photogrammetry. It was a chance to celebrate the power of geospatial expertise, spotlight the importance of our community, and have inspiring conversations about the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.
Whether you were a long-standing member, a curious newcomer, or simply keen to explore the latest developments in geospatial innovation, it was wonderful to see so many people there. Visitors came to say hello, found out more about RSPSoc, and joined the conversations driving our profession forward. GEO Business 2026 was bigger, brighter, and more dynamic than ever — and we were proud to be part of it.
One of the most fun moments for RSPSoc’s Admin Elle was meeting a robot from NextGenRi — and it is safe to say it caused quite a stir. Powered by its impressive Super Recognition System, which uses LiDAR to scan and understand the world around it in real time, the robot felt like something straight out of the future. It was a brilliant reminder that geospatial technology is not only incredibly clever, but can also be exciting, eye-catching, and just a little bit show-stealing.
